Hilary Duff- Blender
In the interview of Blender Hilary talks about Lindsay and Britney.
"On Lindsay and Britney: “I don't want to feel sorry for them, because I don't. I feel sorry that they have to deal with so many people wanting to focus on their flaws and hard times. But that’s the business.”
On being single: “It feels good. I feel strong. Not that I didn't feel strong when I was in a relationship. When I'm in a relationship, I'm in it. I work really hard at it. I'm a pretty good girlfriend.”
On the dumbest rumor she’s heard about herself: “I heard that my sister and I burned down half our house. Oh, and that I had a boob job when I was 14. Come on now!”

Hilary talks about 'Gypsy Woman'
"Hilary Duff was criticized about a song she has on her new album called “Gypsy Woman.” Many believed that she was referring to Nicole Richie in that song. Hilary Duff has finally opened up and has explained the true meaning of the song.
Duff said that she co-wrote the song with older sister Haylie Duff when her family was going through a lot of difficult times.
Her parents were separating after 22 years of marriage and the cause of the separation was reportedly her father’s cheating.
“I was embarrassed that my family wasn’t perfect and that some woman had broken it up,” the Star quoted Duff as saying. “This is so hard to talk about.”
“Gypsy Woman” is a song about an interloping woman and many fans assumed that the song was her split with then boyfriend Madden. The song says, in part: “Try to run away with a Gypsy woman/Here today, then gone for good.”
“I made it seem like it was about a relationship I was in,” the tab quotes Duff as saying, “because I didn’t want people to know about my parents.”

I understand Hilary, is not her job talking about her private life, but people started to said wrong things about her songs, and Hilary had to explained the truth.

Hilary in danger?
Hilary Duff was being interviewed by MuchMusic in Toronto when a psychopathic looking man vowed to kill her. According to reports, police officers moved swiftly to take down a man who had allegedly threatened to kill pop star during her appearance on a Canadian TV show.
Duff was being interviewed Tuesday by MuchMusic host Leah Miller on Live @ Much when a guy in the crowd outside the studio started yelling at the 19-year-old. According to an eyewitness, the unidentified man promised to kill her, prompting several police officers to tackle him.
“The cops slammed his face into the pavement,” said someone who saw the incident. “He was bleeding.”

This happened just metres from an outdoor platform where Hilary Duff later stood to greet fans who surged forward for autographs and pictures.
This isn’t the first death threat scare for Hilary Duff.Last November, police in Manhattan Beach, California, arrested 18-year-old Maksim Miskovsky for stalking and threatening to kill Duff.

As in, it's not mainly about the end of her relationship with Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, who has since hooked up with Nicole Richie.
"For the first time, I (co-wrote) my record and I'm really proud of this. And, yeah, I was in a
relationship for two and a half years and I'm 19, and that was a huge part of my life, so there's definitely songs on the record about Joel. "It's a big mixture of things and it was just what I was feeling at the time. But nobody wants to talk about the good songs that I wrote, like Never Stop. It's my favourite song on the record and it's all about being in a relationship and being so happy. "
"Of course, everyone wants to focus on the songs that are supposedly about his girlfriend. So it's hurtful. I don't have anything against Nicole Richie. I don't know her. And I care about Joel and I want them to be happy."
Duff, who on the track Dreamer addresses having a stalker "in a tongue-in-cheek way," said she much prefers her close relationships with family and friends.
"I don't want that kind of (negative) attention. I guess I think it's just kind of not real and that's why I wrote (Dignity). I stay out of it because I don't like it. People that party all the time, I don't want to be around that. It's a total game that a lot of them play. I know stories of people who call paparazzi on themselves. Who would want to do that? I don't know, it's just strange."
As for the bizarre head-shaving-to-rehab road that fellow pop star Britney Spears has recently travelled, Duff has a lot of empathy for her.
"I like Britney Spears. I've always liked her music and I think she's really talented and I feel horrible for her. Where she lives in L.A., there's like 40 paparazzi cars all day long, all night long. And when she leaves her house, every single one of those cars follow her.
"I would go crazy. I mean I don't think she's crazy, but if you could never leave your house without having that, I don't know, I just feel for her."

"Ok, Toronto is cool. I’m doing interviews all day. I wanted to let you guys know some big news first! It’s springtime, the sun is out and I am going to go back to blonde. I miss it and the weather is nice and for some reason, I am going to do it!
Also, based on your feedback and input, it looks like the next video will be Danger or Stranger. We will make a definite choice this week! Because of you guys, I am still doing OK on TRL. I am planning my summer tour. It’s going to be like you have never seen before. It looks like Seattle is doing a lot of kicking and screaming for me to start there. I still want to hear from you about which city to kick it off in!
